If ever you find yourself hyperventilating that the pearl white exterior of your car is streaked in tar from driving near a construction site (and I mean zebra striped covering the entire length of the vehicle), and said tar remained after immediately going through the car wash, and said tar only smeared when scrubbed with warm water and dish soap, never you fear. I have been there. Today. I have been there today. Get yourself a jar of coconut oil, a soft cloth, and slather the entire vehicle in it. The tar comes right off, and bonus: your car smells like the beach. (You will then want to re-wash the car in dish soap to de-grease it from all that oil, and then go back through the car wash for safe measure. And then, and only then, can you carry on with whatever you really had scheduled for the day. But at least your car will no longer look like Marty, and your bout of hyperventilation will be a distant memory.)
