As a former Unity Partisan, I have searched my heart deeply, and resolved that I made a mistake by supporting Madame Sirleaf for two terms. I, Like many others, felt that as a mother and an educated lady, she was the best choice for our country amongst the rest. Its been almost 10 years, and our beloved country is still in abject poverty. Unemployment is still on the rise, with a select few benefiting from the wealth of the country while the rest are left in utopia. Conventional wisdom dictates that, we cant keep doing the same thing over and over and expect the same result. As the result of all of this, I have decided to take an aberration by voting for Mr. Weah. I dont think Robert Sirleaf will make any difference, as hes been a BIG part of the bad governance that has caused our country to be in such a dire state. Change comes with a risk, and I rather take this risk by voting and supporting Mr. Weah than voting for the status quo. If this Risk/decision of mine is going to prove a failure, then I rather be remembered as one of those that saw a need for a change and took a huge risk in the interest of change. To all my friends and families, Im sorry if u feel let down, but we must act. We cant sit any longer and see our country being ruled by the same old people, and no change. We cant blame them any longer. We must blame ourselves for having the ability to effect change through our votes, but failed to do it. Thanks to you all, and Long live mama Liberia, our sweet land of Liberty. My VOTE GOES TO MR. WEAH!
