If everyone wonders what happened with the daily fishing reports, the truth is that try as I might, I have not been able to find a fish over four pounds on the last three outings. Ive fished from Sherman Island to the Hilton House at the mouth of Middle River with zilch for bigger fish. My clients could have caught dink after dink at various locations but wanted to keep on looking. Good for them but bad for numbers. Of course, when fishing for those juveniles, theres always the chance that a big mo may happen along but it doesn t happen often. Another problem has been the hyacinth, as if you didnt know! On numerous occasions I found fish and either could not cast or was not able to make a full pass. Ill be out for five days this week. Lets hope things change for the better.
