If given the choice, I would take naturally filtered, untreated well water over untreated river water. After all, rural folks have been raised on it. Regardless, water is very treatable. Ask Culligan. So, then why does the City insist on testing our water at the well head, instead of after treatment? They have used this premise (D-5-5 Guideline) to deny single lot severances, even thought the water was proven potable, and that my friends is a property rights infringement. That would be like testing the City Water right out of the River. It has cost two people I know not only their severances, but 18-20 Grand also! Not fair. Stand up against this social injustice, and dont allow your representatives give you untruths and double speak. This is a made in Ottawa problem. End of story
