If in an independent Scotland, the Government in England opposed a currency union, there would be no financial or economical gain to England in doing so. Therefore, out of pure spite, they would burden their people and their businesses with additional charges when trading with Scotland. It would be purely spite, nothing else. Personally I think if thats the sort of politicians we are currently dealing with, willing to harm their country and their people to prove a point.....then why would we not vote to get away from that!!
