If its a Saturday on the campaign trail with TEAM COY, then its time for a photo collage of some pretty fun stops! Photo #1: Started the day in a wonderful way by bringing canned goods to Old Stone Presbyterians Food Bank. Thank you to all the volunteers who are serving our Greenbrier Valley families. Photo #2: Loved attending WVSOMs Healthcare Heroes, promoting good, healthy choices for all our kids. Alden had a great time with the medical students, faculty and staff. He especially enjoyed dressing in what he described as his Everyday Hero uniform - a member of our Armed Forces. Photo #3: Thanks to the Lewisburg Fire Department for teaching public safety to our youngsters. I appreciated listening as well to their concerns about recruiting and retaining first responders to keep our communities safe. As a physician and a Delegate, I will make the health and safety of our people a paramount priority. Photo #4: It was fun taking this selfie with friends who were volunteering at the EGMS Soccer Team Carwash! Thanks for making my car shine. And, good luck on a great season! Photo #5: Happy 100th Anniversary to the Alderson Memorial Bridge! Visiting the farmers market, seeing vintage cars, and talking with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary all made our day fantastic. But, I particularly enjoyed seeing our amazing Summers County supporter William Jones, his mother and his granddad. Check out this cool 1930 Ford! Photo #6: COWS! I had to stop the car and photograph this fortunately common scene. I love our Greenbrier Valley! Photo #7: Frank Mosley. Hes an institution at The Greenbrier. And, it was great to see him at Cooper Gallery tonight for the opening of the Greenbrier Historical Societys exhibit: African American History in Greenbrier County. This is a must see, as it is incredible. Photo #8: Go Mounties! Its Game Time for WVU vs. Oklahoma. And, as I have always said: We CAN build a better and brighter future for all of us. Together!
