If marriage was music it would not be a solo act and neither would it be a duet. If marriage was music it would be a trio performance where God carries the melody, and husband and wife join in perfect harmony. Whenever there is a discord in marriage; it is always because husband or wife has fallen out of tune with God. Getting the marriage back in harmony requires bringing the discordant spouse or both spouses back in tune with God. Getting back in tune often requires a moment of silence in order to listen to the melody and pick the right key. Don’t just sing your marriage song alone or with your spouse; God is carrying the melody; sing in harmony with Him. It takes lots of practice and work to figure out how to live together in harmony with God and to do it well. But the good news is that, God; the Director and Sole Audience of your performance is also the One who carries the melody of your music. Sing along with God!
