If my daughter downloads ONE SINGLE app more, without first getting permission from her dad or myself, yall will all be getting an invite to an iPod smashing party...to illustrate the importance of following rules, and the intolerance I have for blatantly disobeying the rules that have been set forth!! Lol! I know Im THAT parent, and will never be the cool parent but I dont care if its a picture app, or an app about cute, furry kittens...theres way too much crap out there on the internet, and our rules have ALWAYS and will always be that, if she has the privilege of owning a technological device, their are certain responsibilities that go along with it. One of those being that she is not ever to download anything, no matter how trivial it may be, without her dad or I first approving it, researching it etc...we dont allow snapchat, fb, and things like that that shes not old enough for according to the website guidelines, or that everything weve read has shown that kids can end up causing a lot trouble for themselves with it or getting sucked into inappropriate things..Not judging anyone else who does things differently with their child, but this is simply the direction weve chosen and feel is best for Reagan. But apparently she has taken it upon herself to determine which apps should require pre-approval and which ones arent necessary to ask for it. Dont get me wrong, Ive got one amazing kid, and I know Im as lucky as they come in that department! But its because Ive busted my butt her entire life to raise her that way, and have required a certain level of respect and obedience from her, and when I set forth a rule, u can bet I wont be backing down from it just because she struggles with following it. ....Clearly last nights complete lack of sleep has taken its toll and my patience and tolerance meter is at zero! Lol! Ok, rant over! Carry on...And If I offended you with this..right now I really dont care!! Ha!
