If one can describe a Parent/Teacher conference as incredible, then I just had an incredible Parent/Teacher conference. Couldnt be prouder of my little man after hearing his 2nd grade teacher gush about him and his abilities. After being so disappointed in his first grade teacher and her continued focus on how young he was (entered 1st grade a month and a half before his 6th bday) instead of who he was and what he was accomplishing, today was such a breath of fresh air to listen to a teacher that has truly taken an interest in Jack regardless of how young he is. To think, that in one quarter of the school year she has taken more of an interest in my child than his last teacher did during an entire year really reaffirmed my faith in teachers.
