If only as I grew up, learning in school, could I have had more - TopicsExpress

If only as I grew up, learning in school, could I have had more lessons on how to deal with motherhood, its beauty and utmost pain, the moments were you feel you are not cut out for it or the divinity to switch from being totally in love with your child and not wishing to have signed up for it. I believe we all need this special life skill book that tells us it is not all flowers and frills and childbirth pain is minute compared to how tremendous the journey can really make you feel. Yes it is beautiful and joyous and yes I am grateful for having the privilege of being a mother especially to one who is old in soul and maturity but boy it is hard! it is the hardest job in this world and although it is inspiring to raise a child on ones own it is beyond me to know to balance the male and the female the love and the discipline, the hard and the soft, the heart and the mind all without the presence of actual male energy A child is made by two people and when one is missing from the upbringing process there is a sort of tricky energy that tests you beyond your limits...do I correct or do i let go, should I be the mum or the dad in this instance, should I hug him and show utmost vulnerability or do I show complete detachment? Never ending!
