If sewing four HSTs at the wrong angle wasnt sign enough that today wasnt meant to be a quilting day, the fact that I cant raise my feed dogs back into position is. Right? (And all I was trying to do was establish whether my cheap old machine had movable feed dogs. In fact, theres a neat little dial for it but it apparently stopped working once I lowered them. Ugh! Maybe its time for a new machine? I paid probably $100 for this one about 15 years ago. I also imagine repairs arent inexpensive so maybe use the repair $ toward a new machine instead?)
