MESSAGE #158: THE PROBLEM IN AMERICA!!! I am and always will be proud to be an American citizen! But just like any other country, family, or organization we are plagued with problems. One of our main problems is racism. The more we move forward, the more we stay behind. The other day I was shown a pic of a Halloween costume, it was very disturbing and every year Im even more disturbed by peoples choices, selections, and thought process. There was a young man with his face painted black, wearing a bloody gray hoodie, while another young man wore a t-shirt that said, neighborhood watch! This too disturbed my soul and I dont have to tell you why! Last year there were numerous sightings of a President Obama look alike hanging from a noose, Really? I see racism on a daily basis and to the masses that are fortunate enough to not endure this, I guess ignorance is bliss. But, let me be clear...Racism is not soley a black & white issue! We have African Americans hating on one another, Hispanics and Latinos downing one another, and Caucasians despising one another. But the crazy thing is most of these very same folks, claim to be Christians, love God, and God-fearing! Now, for those that read the bible, you all will know of Jesus heritage, HIS roots and ancestry, as well as the region of the world that HE was born and raised. Now, when it comes to God, well HE is the great I am, the Father of ALL creation. With that being said, someone please tell me how you can profess to love God with your mouth, but hate your fellow American? Wouldnt it be something if come, judgement day, the Lord decided to appear as the same color of those that you hated during your lifetime? So, getting to the root of the problem in America is not just about racism, but its about moving far away from God! All of the very principles that our founding fathers built this great nation upon, are sailing up the river, and through the woods, right to the landfills, the dumps, and the rivers and valleys of the land of the lost. Stamped on our money, embedded in our anthems, and engraved on our principles is GOD! But where have we put HIM in our daily lives, in our schools, in our governments, in our laws, in our communities, and in our treatment of people from different races, minorities, social economic backgrounds, even, Lord help me, in some of our churches?! The last time that I checked we all bleed red blood! We all have the same kind of organs, bones, sickness, and disease. To my knowledge, there isnt a white, black, brown, red, or yellow God, but ONE GOD! We are ALL one people, HIS people! Wake up before its too late and conduct yourselves as a child of the Most High God, blessed and privileged to be living in a great nation such as America. # WHERES THE GOD IN YOU # LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THY LOVE THYSELF # BE YE KIND ONE TO ANOTHER # AM I MY BROTHERS KEEPERS
