If shes happy with the results, then kudos to Renee. But I think the issue here is, its doubtful shell work much anymore since shes no longer recognizable as the actress shes spent 20+ years cultivating herself to be. She more or less ruined her brand because her unique looks are what got her many of her unique roles. And when people go to see her in a film, theyre getting someone else now, someone they dont recognize. And thats a shame. Cuz shes a great actress. Itll be interesting to see how the big boys in Hollywood react.
