If someone were to ask me which cause(s) I support, I would be proud to say I support the complete decriminalization and legalization of cannabis for medical and recreational use , and a release of all non-violent so-called criminals. Reading this story made me weep for the future. Not only is the divide between the rich and economically-challenged getting wider, but hundreds to possibly thousands of people are incarcerated everyday, UNNECESSARILY. Like it or not, the Patriot Act has ripped apart our basic rights putting us very close to either a dictatorship or even worse, a communist-esque system of government that does not even follow its own constitution on so many levels. I cannot stress enough, we must vote out as many incumbents/career politicians as possible over the next few years. They are ruining our beautiful country.
