If the bible is not one book, but a collection of many writings by many different people, in different languages, how can it be the word of god? Life does not work that way. You have to be an eye witness to make such a claim. That means when St. John Chrysostom, the bishop of Constantinople wrote the "opuscula", the "homilies", and the "letters", he did not do any research or backed up his sources of putting these many writings into one book and called it the Holy Bible. How can you take writings from many different places and sum it up in one book and call it sacred? That dude was a lazy writer.
