If the declaration of income and tax (attached) is taken any measure to judge their financial condition, these newly-appointed judges were about to starve if not given the jobs. We must be thankful to (1) Chief Justice of Pakistan for proposing their names and (2) Judicial Commission of Pakistan for endorsing them for the vacant positions at Peshawar/Lahore High Courts. However, their tax declarations indicate: either theyre not good enough lawyers to attract clients for making respectable living or theyve mis-declared income and tax. Supposing theyre not competent enough to be in hot demand, on what grounds have they been considered for the position of a judge? In case they mis-declared income and tax, they are not honest enough to qualify for the position of a judge. Dont we need Sadiq and Amin judges?
