If the government has the ability to record anyone’s private conversations, it has enough sensitive information to squelch political opposition through fear, and thereafter arm foot soldiers from a variety of federal agencies with unlimited tools of intimidation. Further, such illegal mining can threaten those who dare to come forward and explain what really happened in Benghazi and in a host of other illicit activities, such as the widespread abuses in Hillary’s Hooker entourage. Moreover, this delving and illegal acquisition of information could have resulted in issuing ultimatums to garner votes for health care and the coercion of Congressional members, made people reluctant to cough up details in the gun-running mess, or perhaps, just perhaps, intimidate a Supreme Court justice to write a key opinion so convoluted it should have been done in crayon. And people wonder why those who testify on behalf of the administration are so arrogant………
