If the well-off donated in proportion to their ability to whinge then the wealth Western World would encompass the whole world. A big heart trumps a big wallet anytime... 90% of the Western World is rich, in one way or another, give time, give money, give support, talk to your bosses about sponsoring technology and ways to help the poor be self-sufficient. One baseballer will get $325 Million dollars, one actor will get $20 million for 3 months work, one blue collar worker will get $750 a week... all can give in their own way... or help raise funds in many other ways.... a multi-billion-dollar Christmas, new pets soon discarded, toys returned, clothes never worn...and in the NY, the poor will still be the same....
