If there is nothing else to say about him, Joe Swanberg is at least one of the most prolific directors of the twenty-first century. In the year 2011 alone, he produced a total of six feature length films. It is very easy for detractors to comment on how that has more to do with his lackadaisical approach to self-editing (favoring devil-may-care, spontaneous improvisations over carefully scripted scenarios) than anything else, but such energy is always a good inspiration for the young filmmaker lacking the courage to go out and make their first motion picture. As if he is output wasnt big enough, Swanberg found the time to make this little piece, released directly on his Vimeo account, free of charge. A barebone production, featuring a cast of Swanberg along with friends and family (including Kentucker Audley, star of Sun Dont Shine), is contrasted by themes of maturity and potential parenthood.
