If there was any doubt that the U.S. Supreme Court has fully joined the war against women, there shouldnt be now. Less than a week after their disastrous Hobby Lobby decision, the U.S. Supreme Court made its slippery slope on reproductive rights even more slippery. Late Thursday, they granted an evangelical college the right to refuse to disclose to the government and insurance companies that it is denying reproductive care to its employees. If permanently upheld, this decision would make it difficult or impossible for employees of exempt corporations to seek out low or no-cost coverage elsewhere. Its clear that the Tea Party has no intention of settling down after the Hobby Lobby ruling. They wont stop until theyve rolled back womens reproductive rights to where they were during the Mad Men era and beyond. Democracy for America members like you are fighting back: The response to our petition asking President Obama to take action to defend working womens right to contraception coverage has been amazing. But if we are going to gain back the upper hand on this crucial issue, we are going to need real resources to help us kick right-wing misogynists out of office across the country. We need to turn the tide in the war on women: Donate $3 to DFA today so we can stay on offense to hold conservatives accountable for Hobby Lobby and defend the right to reproductive care for all women.
