If this is true, it is very scary. Too many folks have a skewed perspective on guns. The facts show that the places with the most lax gun control, therefore the higher percentage of gun ownership, the less crime there is. Period. This politician advocates ignoring many portions of the constitution and violating law abiding citizens of their rights to due process, unfair search and seizure, and disarming folks of their ability to defend themselves - against the government trying to do exactly as he is proposing, as well as criminals!! We need to elect better representatives!! People need to get more involved and more knowledgeable of political candidates and their positions!! Stop voting for superficial bumper-sticker slogan campaigns!! Help me get elected to the US Congress and bring some common sense and intelligence back to Washington, DC.
