If this is true, it’s an astonishingly great statement about Snowden’s character. From the beginning, it has seemed like Edward Snowden has acted with the good of the United States in mind. He blew the whistle on his own country’s corrupt government and has even taken steps to protect the country from the spies of other nations. From the looks of it Snowden’s aim wasn’t to put his thumb in the eye of the United States, it was to protect its people from the tyrants within.
