They knew the cost of their redemption and what they were redeemed from(4:3). The cost was great; the sacrifice of Christ.Mat26:28,Heb9:12,14. Brethren, with what, were we redeemed? Gold, silver,cow blood,etc? *Was the redemption price cheap? If yes, could we have obtained it by ourselves? *From what were we redeemed? Sin and its eternal consequences? *Are we still slaves to those things(sin) we were redeemed from?2Pet2:20-22 *Are we reverencing God by trampling the precious blood that saved us through deliberate sins? Heb10:26-31 Shouldnt we repent? Isa55:7 More grace to the faithful. Amen
