If we are truly serving Yahweh, the God of Israel, we serve a God - TopicsExpress

If we are truly serving Yahweh, the God of Israel, we serve a God that takes notice of the prayers of His children, a God that answers the prayers of those who desire to obey Him. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Once again, what is a righteous mas/woman? One who desires to obey God`s commandments. Yahweh also answers prayers because He is merciful. Yahweh hears the prayers even of unrepentant sinners. So the commandment keepers, the righteous and the unrepentant all have one thing in common. We are all sinners. Every prayer answered, even those answered with a “no”, is our heavenly Father reaching out His hand. Every healing, every deliverance and yes, sometimes even the things we are so ready to label as tragedy,, are in reality the merciful hand of Yahweh reaching out to His children in a way that cannot even be comprehended by us and our tiny little finite minds. Yahweh does whatever He decides is necessary to bring those He chooses to that narrow path. We know that He doesn`t choose according to the world, appearance our stature. He doesn`t choose by political or religious standing or status. I find it difficult now to concern myself with how or even why He chose me. I know now that it is always true that many of the reasons people think Yahweh would “not” choose them turn out to be the very reasons He does. It`s inside out and upside down from the world. Where we die to live and to lose is gain, where to be great you must become the least. Where we must lose our life to find it. Where the prideful are brought low and the humble are lifted up Lol. Is it any wonder the world looks at true Christians as crackpots? lol. It`s not to me. So if we have been called, should we not obey Yahweh rather than men? Should we not worship Yahweh on “His” Sabbaths that the Bible commands rather than reject them to keep a day commanded by a man?. Should we not refrain from praying to idols and statues even kissing the feet of such objects. Should we not refrain from praying to any one or anything except the Father in the name of His son Yahshua (Jesus)? If we do not refrain from these things clearly commanded in the pages of His Word, aren`t we in rebellion to that very same Word we defy? Is Yahweh going to allow rebellion in His coming Kingdom? If it is the Kingdom of God we wish to become citizens of for eternity, should we not be learning and practicing obedience rather than defiance? We must, as true sons and daughters, reject this mentality of thinking we can spit in the face of God and He must still allow us to enter His Kingdom. It`s not, “how much of the word can I reject and/or refuse to obey and still be a Christian”. It is “now that I have made Christ my Lord(one who has legal authority over every aspect of my life) what can I do to please Him, to be sure I am loving Him as He desires me to love Him”? 1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. And when I pray, how can I be sure that if the answer is no, it is no because that is not God`s will, or could it be no because I am in rebellion to His Word? How can I know for sure? 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. Everybody is at a different place in their walk but no matter where we are, when truth is revealed and confirmed by scripture, which is the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of Yahweh, we should be willing to conform to that truth no matter what it means to our flesh, our relationships, our religious status or any opinions of “any “man, be it the pope or a priest or pastor or minister. When the choice comes to you, and it will, no matter how difficult it may be, fear not, Yahweh is with you and He is “for” you making the choice to obey Him over man. The Word of God must always prevail over the words, traditions and opinions of men if we are to be assured a place in His Kingdom. Praise Yahweh with thanksgiving in the name of His Christ Yahshua. Shalom. https://facebook/groups/7spirits/
