If we as Christians just wore sweat shirts with a cross on it does it tell everyone we are Christians ? If thats the only thing tellin people who we are then we obviously arent living fully to the word of God. When you truly live act and speak with the love of God it shines everywhere. People notice see it. When I was 15 and lived in Petersburg my grandparents came to visit us and we went to buffet city in colonial heights for lunch after Sunday morning service. We was all just starting to sit down one of us stayed sitting to watch the purses for our woman as my grandpa came back sat down and an we talked for 3 mins or so a man walks up to us who was well into his 60s dressed in a suite and walked up shook my grandpas hand then shook my hand locked eyes with me and said there is something different about you. He looked at my grandpa and said I was standing way over there and I looked your way and this boy had a light so bright upon him the only thing I could think I was the presence of God. He said in all my life I seen a thing like it. He said in a Methodist pastor and been so for years and Ill tell you what you know Jesus! I was startled shocked and surprised because I was just talking to grandpa. Wasnt anything special but the man asked where we went to church at. And told us to keep up the good work and went on his way. I will never forget the man or his words. That was 7 years ago. Sometimes I have to remind myself to let my light shine. Be what Gods asked of me. #LetMyLightShine
