If ya mess up keep trying. Even if you know your messing up. As one sister put it yesterday even if you rapid fire sin dont give up on Gods plan. Thats the enemys plan; to make you feel like dirt, discouraged, frustrated and rendered useless. He is powerfully intelligent. So if you feel like you messed up. Ask Him for forgiveness; Truly and sincerely. If you mess up and your not ready to stop but you know it is not right talk to God. Hes bigger than it. Other people might give up on you but He wont. You might be holding on to your pet wrong doing or its holding on to you or both. Say something like this to God. Say, Lord, I just cant and dont want to let this go. Help me to want to let it go because Im just not there yet. Keep plugged in. Its our nature to want to hide from God when we do wrong. Adam and Eve did it. We should try to do right but its a fallen world and millions of people all with free will. Something is bound to happen. People will be hurtful. Circumstances will arrise.But Gods got this. Focus on your mindset. Put your filter of positivity on daily. Allow nothing to seperate you from a strong relationship with your Creator. Forgive and receive forgiveness. Forgiveness is not earned. It is a selfish thought to say I know God can forgive me but I just cant forgive myself. I picked this up from Grief Share. The speaker said, I know in Gods courtroom He forgives me. But we put our courtroom of not forgiving above His. Its a matter of pridefulness. Who are we to forgive. But you just said forgive and now you say who are we to forgive. So which is it, Mari. Make up your mind. Well, track with me for a bit. Are we Jesus? Did we have the pure blood that was shed for all mankind? I dont know about you but I know myself. And I cant claim even remotely that title. We are to MODEL His forgiveness. We do not grant forgiveness. See the difference? Forgiveness is a gift from God. A tool obviously needed when He created a people of free choice. Forgiveness is a way to protect you from carrying the burden-Griefshare The tool of forgiveness is for you not for the one who did the wrong to you. The tool is a tool of relief and healing.
