PICTURE IT…..Walmart Store 822…10:15ish p.m. (thats your clue that this may not end well). Me, trying to scan Ham steaks on the self check out: (annoying voice)your check is invalid Me: its ham steak you annoying bytch, just take it (covering up top bar code, and scanning bottom). Annoying voice: Your check is invalid Me, covering up bottom bar code: (Annoying Voice) your check is invalid Me, trying the other ham steak: (Annoying Voice) your check is invalid Me, picking up steak about to beat up the self check out: (*&*&%&^R&^^I*Y*^T^&R^U&R*KYHJMBKU you piece of crap!!!!! Girl watching the front end (not a CSM) tried to do the exact same things I did Me: yeah I already did that on both of them, but ok Her: I need to get a CSM Me: ok zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 6 minutes later, still no CSM Me getting out my cell phone and calling Store 822 (phone was answered) Me: yeah Im at your front end, Ive been waiting for a CSM or a Manager because my hame steaks wont scan, can you get someone up here? Guy on the other end of the phone: excuse me? Me repeating exactly what I said the first time… Guy on the other end of the phone: you are standing up front? at the Check out? Me: yes Guy on the phone gets on the PA system and calls a CSM or Manager to the front end for customer service…. Me: thanks CSM shows up less than a minute later (funny how that works) CSM did EXACTLY what I already did (twice) and what the other girl did (twice). Me: yeah I already did that, but ok…. CSM punching buttons with no good results… Me: cant you just put it under the meat dept and put the price in (look at me all knowing how walmart works because I only worked there 7 yrs) CSM: are you paying with food stamps: Me giving her a weird look: No, I just want to go home (still showing incredible patience because TRUST me when I tell you, most people would have lost it more than 10 minutes ago) CSM putting it manually under the dept, and OH HEY, look at that, it worked!!! CSM: thank you maam you have a good night.. Me smiling beautifically: thanks you to… I didnt end up in JAIL, I didnt end up in a bad, white bronco police chase, and I didnt lose my temper. So the moral of the story is…….when the store that you are shopping at is full of underpaid, WAY under trained customer service people, take out your cell phone, and call for a manager…..funny how that works….
