If you are a pastor or a pastors spouse and are having marital problems DO NOT BROADCAST YOUR BUSINESS ON FACEBOOK OR OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA! One of the worst things to do is subject your family to the public spectacle of emotional outburst for private matters. WOMEN: There are other women within the congregation hitting like on his posts that are even in your church waiting and hoping for you to leave your husband or get a divorce so they can get their shot at being the next YOU to him. They say Amen and praise the Lord to you every Sunday but if you leave on Monday by Tuesday they will be auditioning for your spot and probably have been auditioning all along waiting for this opportunity. If he was the man of your dreams dont make him the source of your nightmares. Ask GOD to help you dream again. He made man, and like clay in the potters hand he can make him over again. MEN: Shes still your wife and you still should cover her no matter how bad you may feel hurt. Furthermore, if you are the offender or equal in the issue dont use the ministry to medicate yourself or as a band-aid to avoid accountability while you throw your wife under the bus to the congregation and play on the sympathy of the members and your peers in the ministry to turn them against her. Stop trying to present an image of invulnerability and being unaffected. Stop trying to give other folks marriage advice or counseling and leave the pulpit to go do your ministry at home and help save your marriage. Dont give up; fight for your marriage. I pray for your marriage to make it and overcome where others have failed. Many of us who understand the unfortunate pain of divorce and have experienced failure are rooting for you and not against you. I love you and pray you succeed. ~ I.J. West 1st CORINTHIANS 7:10-11; And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11) But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. #MARRIAGE
