If you are a veteran, caregiver or supporter who is SICK and TIRED - TopicsExpress

If you are a veteran, caregiver or supporter who is SICK and TIRED of the VA painting all veterans as dangerous and as the enemy - read this article and then CALL / EMAIL YOUR CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS - (can be found here: contactingthecongress.org/ ) So who in the VA is going to STOP this deliberate painting of veterans as dangerous and violent???? One would think after Philadelphia heard the backlash for having used Oscar the Grouch to portray veterans in a training powerpoint, that these people would get a grip on reality. This Advisory Board has gone too far! They come out and state two complete falsehoods; first - that a veterans disability rating is not solely based on the C & P file and second - that if we see what they put in there BEFORE our rating decision is handed down, we will become violent! They even allege that the female examiners are in danger and need security. The VA is at the core of labeling veterans as violent. Main stream media is their cohort in this. For decades, when the VA speaks, the MSM laps it up and completely ignores real evidence to the contrary...that the VA is beyond broken and that veterans are not a danger to society. It is disgraceful that the VA leadership continues this behavior without repudiation. Here is an excerpt from the Advisory Board statement: A group of department officials said Monday that they fear some veterans could see the notes from the exam, assume from this partial picture that their claim is being denied, and take out their anger on local VA officials. They voiced their safety concerns Monday to members of the departments Advisory Committee on Disability Compensation at their meeting this week in Washington...Many of the C-and-P docs are females, and they seem to be the ones that seem to have the evening hours or are in these far-flung [clinics], said Denny Devine, the VAs project executive for disability and medical assessments. Those are the ones on our weekly calls raising these concerns. nationaljournal/defense/va-moves-to-prevent-veteran-violence-over-disability-claims-20141021
