If you are a writer like me, then I encourage all of you that are to participate in the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) challenge! During the month of November, starting tomorrow on November 1st, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. While I wont be signing up to their website to make an official submission, I will be participating in this challenge, and Id encourage the rest of you to do so as well. It can be about anything, Star Wars, general Fantasy and Science Fiction, Romance, Mystery, Non-fiction, whatever you desire so long as it meets the 50,000 word count before the deadline! This is excellent motivation for getting your first draft finished. Dont worry about grammatical errors, dont worry about structure or editing, that can come after the challenge, right now this is for you to get your creative juices flowing!
