If you are coming to audition for Midsummer this Tuesday, please - TopicsExpress

If you are coming to audition for Midsummer this Tuesday, please read!!! I have tried to reply to everyone individually, but there is a slight change in plans, so please disregard what I sent you before and follow this. Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-10 pm. Fridays from 6-10 pm. Saturdays from 10-2 p.m. We start Feb 2nd and open March 26th. We will be rehearsing during the DAY during Spring Break. The show does not require everyone be to every single rehearsal, so a few conflicts may be okay, less if its closer to opening. Please check your schedules so when you fill out the audition form you can honestly say if you have any rehearsal conflicts. Thursday nights are also reserved, but on a limited as-needed basis, so please indicate your availability on that night as well. The show runs March 26, 27, 28, April 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11. There is a potential high school matinee on Friday April 10th at 10 a.m. We will meet in the Black Box Theater at 5 p.m. on Tuesday January 20th to do SPEAKING ROLES first. This is a change. This is because the dance studio is not available until later. Please arrive just before 5 so you can fill out the audition form. All those auditioning for speaking roles should come prepared with 8-10 lines of Shakespeare memorized. You will be notified following your audition if you are called back to stay and read for a specific role. At 6:00 we will move to the dance studio next door for dance auditions. Please wear clothes and shoes you are comfortable to move in. I would prefer the ladies wear a small heel, character shoes are fine for this. You will learn a short combination in the 1920s style of dance. There will be no dance audition callbacks. Please email me if you have any questions about any of this. I apologize for the change but am looking forward to seeing you Tuesday!
