MY PLEA TO MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS AND FAMIILY!!!! Three years ago I dropped everything to move in with my father who was very ill and told me that he felt like he only had two more years left and he needed me to take care of him. It was a full-time job so to speak. He passed away two years later and I moved out and my fiance and I got our own home. I quickly returned to work and my life returned to normal. I lost my job this time last year and I was devastated. My husband encouraged me to go back to school and return to nursing where he saw my heart really was so I did. I bacame a housewife and a full-time student. He became the main source of income. Now that he has become disabled from a brutal attack and robbery everything falls on me. He has been in and out of the hospital for two months now and is currently in the NVICU at Medical City Dallas and has been for a week now. I have been told that it will take 3-6 months for a decision and payment for SSDI and Christmas is here and it does not look like I will be able to provide a Christmas for my 15 yo son, who is a very humble and respectful child who attends a talented and gifted high school and participates in athletics at his home school. If anyone knows of an organization or church that can help please inbox me. We attend a small church that does not have the financial means to offer assistance and I have exhausted all of the referrals that I have received to only get the same response we are out of funds!!!!
