If you are like me and you are a 90 kids you probably grew up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If you are like me and still hold a special place in your heart for the turtles then there is a documentary you should check out it is called turtle power. Take a look at the creation of the turtles up to the first movie in a little bit beyond that. It is an interesting story about two people who came up with a wild idea one night meaning for it to go nowhere and that by the force of chance became a worldwide phenomenon.. You learn interesting facts about the creation of the original black and white comic book. You will learn everything there is to know about the creation of the playmates toyline. How the toy line influenced the cartoon, then how the cartoon influenced the toyline, to generate years and years of Ninja Turtles merchandise. Then you will learn a lot of interesting facts about the creation of the movie and how the film helped staple the Ninja Turtles as a worldwide phenomenon. If you want a turtles documentary that covers everything there is this sadly stops shortly after the original film franchise. It is still a great documentary worth checking out.
