If you are looking to increase balance and coordination, these hip circles are a great place to start. Hip circles help to strengthen the hip flexor muscles and provide stability in the base leg. Find a crate or an object similar that is about knee height. Without bending either leg or touching the ground and crate, lift the leg both clockwise and counter-clockwise around your object. I am demonstrating 5 each way. Work up to 30-50 hip circles, each way, each leg, 3x. Simple, little equipment required, and yet very effective. See if you can do them without wobbling or falling over!
