If you are one not afraid to be shocked you can watch this here ... and it would be good to no longer LIE to your children and Im sure you ar a caring paren of your children ... I have researched alot on x-mas since it was everything to me. I had wished everyday was x-mas growing up Catholic. Who hasnt, being brought up with it. ...It is pure lies, though. Since I found it not to be true about 3 days before x-mas, on Dec. 22, 1985 when I was just 20, I decided there is no way I want this huge lie in my life. I was about to go and buy an x-mas tree, but that day I learned its a lie and I searched my bible many hours and it did not state in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John which date Jesus was born. That was enough for me! I was brought up to believe it was Jesus b-day and thats why we celebrate it! I was wondering why there was a tree, and a star on top when we celebrated it when I was 12. It just didnt make sense. And who was Santa and why is he in the scene, taking competition with Jesus on Jesus day? It was maddening to try to make sense of it, but everybody did it and seemed happy with it, got presents, and who could argue with all that great food! * * * * Well, after I found the truth I had to realize to live for the Kingdom and not for x-mas anymore. The Kingdom will feel like better than x-mas everyday, anyway! At x-mas people in my family were selfish and complaining about their gifts and fake. IT was not a lasting love and the rest of the year, and even on that day, I was not treated so good. But at least on that day they pretended to be happy and care a bit about me, but it was just fake. I am so much happier to know the real truth and spread happiness with a much better gift... a gift I can share everyday about the truth about Jesus, and he will be King for 1,000 years, something those who celebrate his b-day will never understand unless they let go of the notion he was just a baby in a manger, and not much more is explained about him on Dec. 25..... There is so much more to his life than that!! Here is a video documentary you might find very, very interesting....
