I was here when Abhisit, non-elected, refused to resign and dozens were killed in Bangkok. I was here when Yingluck was elected prime minister. Thai people are destroying their own country with the battle with yellows against the reds. Dont say foreigner should not get involved. I am married to a Thai person, I work with Thais, I pay taxes in Thailand and work here. I previously taught Thai students and help, I hope, to open the eyes of hundreds of Thai students. What is happening in Bangkok is wrong. You dont block the streets or go inside government offices to paralyze the government. If you disagree with the government you wait until the next election. Now, there is an arrest warrant on Suthep. Great. If you think Thaksin should be in jail, then let Suthep faces accusation and let the justice decide. I dont see how your country will resolve this crisis and I am really tired about it. Fortunately, I live in Isaan (Nakhon Ratchasima) and I dont have all these problems in our streets. I feel I am Thai and we are brothers. Stop this nonsense. It will be better for everyone, for your economy. There is an election next year I think. If you dont like Yingluck, just vote against her party. Thai people have this fantastic ability to forgive, as Buddhist. When Songkran, Loy Kratong, Mother or Fathers Day is there, you all unite. Please unite for your country, for my country too. I am part of Thailand and here, we promote Korat and Isaan. Just think about it. Nobody wins in a war. And Thais are normally very good to compromise, find a way out. What about a third party? What about putting away the past and preparing the future. I am so tired to hear about reds and yellows.
