Good Morning Central Alabama! Here is YOUR Tuesday morning forecast! Today, we will see the clouds ever changing as we will be in a transition period to a more of a dry pattern by Wednesday. With that said though scattered showers and thunderstorms will be in the picture. Most of this activity will dissipate by 10 pm this evening, with overnight lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. Wednesday will be the driest day in store for the next seven days as high pressure briefly sets up shop. Highs will be back in the upper 80s to low 90s. A few isolated afternoon storms could develop in the counties in the far east. A front will try to work down on Thursday. There are some questions on timing that could have an impact on storm development Thursday afternoon. A slower advancement and temperatures could really warm up and plenty of instability would be available for strong to severe storms, with hail and damaging winds possible. A faster solution would get the rain and clouds in before the instability could be realized and limit the severe potential and keep temperatures in check. Rain will remain in the forecast through the weekend as the front stalls over the area Thursday night. Stay weather aware through the end of the week and into the weekend. Have a GREAT day!
