If you can spare a few moments of your time I am asking all of you - TopicsExpress

If you can spare a few moments of your time I am asking all of you to please just watch this video of a new friend Ive made through a support group for people with spinal cord injuries and have Brown-Sequard Syndrome and without expensive long term specialized therapy hope for a better quality of life is little or none, and the costs for long term treatment & care are staggering and can even cost a person to lose everything they have including family & friends. Ill be stopping my own therapy in January as Ive exhausted my funds & resources over this past year and will be lucky to even keep getting medicine for pain & uncontrollable muscle spasms because of new legislation that now requires me to make an office visit to obtain the medication prescription directly from my physician to carry to the pharmacy before I can have it filled only to be told that they are out of stock because the law has also limited the supply that each pharmacy receives now. With my premiums, deductible, & out of pocket all going up next year and coverage going down Ill only be going to my doctor maybe once a quarter or in an emergency only, because my healthcare is not affordable, but my insurance has rather transferred to an imposed tax that no longer covers my heath needs but provides care to those that have been granted the right to stay in this country after entering illegally. I believe in helping people, but not those breaking the law. Thats why Im trying to help this respectful young man with his video to bring awareness to people with spinal cord injuries, he lives in the Philippines & can not afford care & treatment he really needs. He was robbed and shot in the back at age 13, now at 20 he continues to try and condition & improve himself. It will only cost you a few minutes of your time to watch and share and ask others to do the same but if shared and viewed enough YouTube ® will send him a check that can help him get the help he needs for a better life. This young man and his story has inspired me at a very low point in my own recovery from my spinal cord injury at T3, T4 where my cord was badly compressed, recovery is slow & not guaranteed, as well as very difficult to learn to live with. I to hope to eventually be able to fund the purchase of an in home FES therapy exercise machine that will enable me to retrain my CNS to function more normally so my children can have their fully functional dad back that I know they miss because they always tell me they hope I get better and I want to. Id like to beat the odds and also help others with spinal cord injuries get through it the best that they can by sharing all my experiences with them as a testament of all the things faith can get you through and not to think that things are impossible, but for them to know instead.....Im Possible! Thank you if you stuck with me this far & please share. †
