If you dont believe this was an act of God you need your headspace checked. The reason that fairies are even considered in the world is because during a great famine in Europe the peasants began to see fairies in the woods - mostly wives and children - and that is possibly due to the fact that they had so little to eat and had to stay awake for most hours of a 24 hour day. Turns out that fairies were created because they were rich women in the Middle East who laughed when they found out that Jesus Christ had been crucified. Thus the story of fairies in the woods were created.
