If you dont recognize the ingredients; its probably not something you would consume knowingly. I find it amazing the more I educate myself on the contents of what the F.D.A. allows in food and what I find acceptable to ingest. Did you know most average store brands of yogurt contains dead bugs as a coloring agent. Watch for this: car·mine [kahr-min, -mahyn] Show IPA noun 1. a crimson or purplish-red color. 2. a crimson pigment obtained from cochineal. wait for it...... cochineal Use Cochineal in a sentence coch·i·neal [koch-uh-neel, koh-chuh-, koch-uh-neel, koh-chuh-] Show IPA noun a red dye prepared from the dried bodies of the females of the cochineal insect, Dactylopius coccus, which lives on cactuses of Mexico, Central America, and other warm regions. Now, that you know this is used to color your yogurt....do you find this acceptable as food? do you consider bugs edible food choice?
