So, out we went into the cold. I put a coat on him which he accepted easily looking pretty handsome, the green complementing his handsome tan fur. Maxs coat is lush and clean, his weight perfect for his size, teeth clean, and hes social and friendly. He does pull hard on the leash, and eliminates the moment we are outside. His favorite thing to do as we walk is sniff and explore his new surroundings, finding piles of leaves in the park in which to jump and play. Hes ready for a good time! As we approach other dogs he barks and pulls towards them in an attempt to meet them; he does need better how do you do manners. In the building he happily stops to greet each kenneled dog with an appropriate tail wag as if telling them their turn will be next. Off leash in the back yard he loved chasing a tennis ball, occasionally bringing it back for another toss, and occasionally laying down for a good chomp. Hes an accomplished ball player, leaping to catch the ball mid air tail wagging proudly. Coming when I call him to me, he places his paws in my lap for a good rub down, giving kisses, tail wagging happily. Max is looking for an active home, where exercise is part of the normal routine. His eyes sparkle with delight when hes engaged and looking into them as I get ready to toss the ball is amazing. If you are looking for someone who will never say - nope, its too cold I dont want to go out - than Max is your boy.
