If you don’t know your enemy you will have difficulty winning - TopicsExpress

If you don’t know your enemy you will have difficulty winning spiritual battles. Knowing your enemy and his tactic is vital to success. It is possible to have many enemies but the truth is we have one main enemy—Satan. Ephesians 6:12 "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. (Amplified)" However, we need to remember that satan is defeated. Jesus won the victory and that will never change. Revelation 5:12, "....Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing." How does Satan attack? His strategies have not changed. Just like he lied to Eve in the beginning is the same way he has been operating. He will always come through your mind or through people and make you believe what is contrary to the word of God. But God has given us a prescription to all these darts of the enemy; it is in the book of Philippians chapter 4 and verse 8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Anything contrary to these things is directly from the devil. Who is your main enemy? The devil. How does he attack? Through our minds or through people. How do we guard it? Make Jesus your Lord and Saviour, Spend more time on the word of God and think on all those things in Philippians 4:18.
