Ive been in Washington D.C. today (May 29th) for having few meetings at the US Department of State. I met Mr. Thomas O. Melia who is the Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau Of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor and former Deputy Executive Director (for five years) of Freedom House which is one of the most well-known organization that supporting the expansion of freedom throughout the world. We took this picture together at the end of the meeting. At this discussion was present also Mr. Jaroslaw Anders who is a Deputy Director of the Office of European Affairs. It was a honour for me to meet today also in Washington D.C. the next Deputy Chief of Mission, Chargé daffaires ad interim of USA in Romania that will come to Bucharest this summer. Many thanks to Ms. Marie Blanchard, the Romanian Desk Officer for all of her support in Washington D.C. Many thanks also to Mr. Duane Butcher for his support to make these meetings possible. He will end in just few weeks his work as the Deputy Chief of Mission, Chargé daffaires ad interim of USA in Romania.
