If you downloaded yesterdays update for Godus prior to installing iOS 8, then you shouldnt have lost any progress and your Homeworld ought to be intact. However, if you installed iOS 8 and played Godus prior to yesterdays update, then your save game would have been reset and your progress lost. Furthermore, the update won’t recover your lost save on its own. So if you logged in and saw that your Homeworld was not as it should be, we realise its not unreasonable to assume that yesterdays update didnt fix anything. In fact, the update did successfully fix that the bug that was the original source of this issue, but right now it doesnt always automatically repair the damage caused by the bug if the damage occurred before we released yesterdays update. Were sorry for the confusion, however help is at hand. By contacting us via Support.22cans we might still be able to recover it for you soon. :) Right now, we are looking through our servers to determine a way of restoring your saves. If you have lost any gems, please contact us via Support.22cans/ and well be able to help you out without delay. In the meantime, if you start a new game and create a fresh Mobage account, then you will be able to continue with that save and in the event that we are able to recover your save from the server, then youll be able to log-in to your old Mobage account and access your previous saved game.
