If you fancy a bracing walk to clear the cobwebs this weekend after a gruelling week, why not try one of the many walks on the Crown Estate (the former Dunster Castle estate) from the Castle? But dont forget wellies and waterproofs as recent rain and logging has left paths rather muddy! Here are some pictures taken earlier today of the circular walk up to Bats Castle and the former Deer Park via the medieval packhorse bridge near our Watermill. After the walk why not pop into the cosy tea room at our Watermill or one in the village and warm up with a lovely cup of tea and a slice of cake? Dont forget we also have our Illuminated Garden trail from 6pm - 7.30pm every weekend during November and see our gardens in another light! Our Watermill and gardens are also open all weekend from 11am - 4pm (free to members).
