In order to discover mysteries and interpretation i use several of the most popular translations of the Bible [Literal and Paraphrased versions as well as Study Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries, and Concordance] when doing exegesis and writing manuscripts. It is imperative not to be fundamental, unteachable, and rash when studying scripture or when attempting to interpret scripture. Especially in the absence of Historical Background [eg. A sound knowledge of Pre and Post Exillic History, Inter-Testamental History] and context [How did we get the Bible?; Who wrote the Bible?; Language, Cultures, and Traditions; nb. This is not and exhaustive list].
