Well, I wrote this review as soon as I saw the movie in the cinema took some time to post it in this group. This is my humble opinion about Captain America: The Winter Soldier After avoiding spoilers all these days, finally watched Captain America : The Winter Soldier. It was just amazing ! Way way more better than expected. I had really high hopes lately and the movie succeeded my expectations. The story was intense ! For the 1st time I saw this kinda interesting story from a solo marvel movie after Iron Man ( 2008 ). A much better Captain America movie than the 1st one. Never knew Captain America is this much of a bad-ass character. Story, acting, action sequences were superb. And the hand to hand combat sequences blew my mind. Never saw this much advanced, professional martial arts in a comic book movie before. It was to the top notch. And gotta say the score of the movie merged superbly for the action sequences. Great score and superb sound effects. We could literally feel the Captain Americas shield than any other movies before. No need to say specially about the VFX because Marvel always know how to do it right. 3D was not bad. Depth and some of the pop-out effects were OK. Watching it in 3D is not necessary. And what a great way to enter the movie directing by Russo brothers. Didnt know about them much except knowing that they are popular for TV shows. And after watching this movie, I can say they did a pretty good job. And glad that they are the same directors for the Captain America 3. The movie is in safe hands now. Could have been much better if they give some more screen time to Winter Soldier. And Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson did the justice to their characters and gotta admit that Evans is way too awesome in this movie than Captain America 1st movie or Avengers. And the humor delivered by Nick Fury was just hilarious and was icing in the cake. I didnt feel much SUPER SOLDIER in Captain America from the previous movies, but from the kicks and punches and shield throwing we can literally feel how super he is. Had some touching moments which defines about true brotherhood and friendship. I really enjoyed those. And as usual they kept the tone of humor in this movie too. Almost fell out of the seat for some jokes. This movie is changing the whole future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ( Lots of flashbacks, old characters and some references to the previous Captain America movie. So I suggest you to watch it before this sequel. ) . Where the fate of the SHIELD and Avengers goes all changes from this movie. Im so hooked for it and cant wait for the future movies from Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eagerly waiting for the Avengers : Age Of Ultron. Hope Joss Whedon will pull it of as usual. As in brief, this is the BEST marvel solo movie up-to-date. Yes, it is better for me than even Iron Man ( 2008 ). Cant compare it with Avengers though. And the best thing about the movie for me were the Action Sequences ( Specially hand to hand combat ), Score and the unpredictable story. Dont close the movie as soon as the credits rolling ( well obviously a real Marvel movie follower never do so ). Wait for an exciting post credit scene where they tease 2 new members for the Avengers : Age Of Ultron. And the 2nd post credit scene is not much of an interesting one, but it might hinting us about the fate of Winter Soldier and where Captain America 3 gonna start from. 9.5/10
