So this guy was has an aquarium store decides to expand the business and gets 3 bunnies to sell. Two sell fast. After 4 months, this little fella is still at the store sitting in a tiny cage, so the owner just wants to get rid of the bunny by either giving him away or putting him down if nobody wants him. Then comes my nieces boyfriend, who tells my niece about this poor little soul. She already has one, but cant take another one. So she sends me his pictures (the ones in a tiny cage below) and I tell her to tell the owner we will find him a home. My buns foster mom (the one I got my boy from) offers to foster him (yay! Shes awesome) and I have to drive two hours to get him on the following weekend, and start to find him a good home. No success, the only one interested asks if the bunny comes with the cage in the pic. I tell her bunnies dont need cages. She says that they would only use it at nights because it would be free in the garden during the day. Pardon me? Hell no. So finally, the weekend comes and there he is, a sweet little creature. Still in shock because he has no idea whats going on. He lets me pick him up (my baby boy Panfilo doesnt let me pick him up) and I fall in love right that moment. I look at my husband saying hes so cute!! But actually meaning can we keep him??? I hand the baby to him and after petting him for a while he says ok, we can keep him if I get to name him. Yay!!! He named him Diablo, as he could tell he was a little devil. And oh boy! Was he right! We set up a pen for him next to my side of the bed, since he is not bonded with my other bunny (whos free range) and is not litter trained and pees and poops everywhere, and he is up all night jumping, running, digging, and you know, being a bunny! He keeps me up all night! Hes a handful, but we need to make this work. Hope I can bond him with Panfilo soon, and get litter trained too. He has an appointment with the vet on Saturday for a general checkup, and hopefully he will be neutered soon. Wish us good luck!
