If you happened to notice the War Memorial today in Berridale and the SRSC, flags were at half mast to acknowledge the tragic loss of 28 Australian lives, and indeed, 270 others, in the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 incident over Eastern Ukraine. As a small community, we keenly feel the loss of our own when they pass on. At the moment, so many communities across Australia are feeling this profound loss as well. I am sure that many of us have taken at least a moment to consider these unconscionable events.
