If you have been hankerin’ at becoming a Texas Bar-B-Que “Grill-Meister; Go over and visit Elliot’s Hardware on Coit RD in Plano, TX. Elliots has one of the best selections of grillin’ goods and grills I think I have ever seen. The also sell the Green Egg. The Green Egg is a magnificent piece of work. But here is the best part; Every Saturday between 10am – and 2pm “The Brother’s Que” featuring Jim Taylor put on quite a show and hand out freebie samples from their Green Egg. I visited there this morning and I thought I knew something about using a grill but Jim taught me stuff I can’t wait to put into practice. He does everything from pizza to Pineapple upside down cake; and of course smoked meat. He has an assistant (His beautiful little daughter) who does the serving with a smile. This team is very friendly and helpful and attentive to your every question and need in the art of Texas cookin’. Oh and BTW; people inside Elliot’s are also the friendliest and most helpful staff I have run-across in retail in some time and they are also very knowledgeable. I had a great time and you will also.
